Amritaghateswarar Abirami Temple-Thirukadaiyur (for 60s and 80s Year Marriage)

He removed his ornaments and started to do penance. Mother goddess appeared from the ornaments and graced. Devas consumed the Amritham after worshipping Amrithakadeshwar and Mother Ambika. There is a separate sannidhi for Kalasamhara Murthy with Mothej Balambigai. It is believed that the lord appeared from the lingam Markandeya hugged tightly for rescue from Yama. Mother Abirami also graces here in a separate sannidhi.
